Evolving information about head injuries and potential long-term threats to a player's health have come to the forefront of our sport recently.
Tonight's skills night will be held at the high school stadium under the lights from 7pm to 8pm. Please bring cleats/regular shoes, water, shin guards, and a ball. If the weather is bad it will be moved to the intermediate gym.
This seasons coaches meeting will be held Thursday March 24th 7:00pm at the Gilbert elementary school library.

Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country based upon one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the US and Canada. Our experienced staff study the game at all levels and we have identified the key techniques and skills that your players need to work on and master to reach their true potential. With programs for each age, the curriculums includes a variety of foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, freestyle soccer, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a mini tournament play.

Oh dang, you might wonder when the season starts. Players will be contacted by their coach the middle of August and games will start the beginning of September and run through mid October. We get the best of both muggy summer and wet and cold fall. Bring on the soccer weather.
You might be thinking "wow, that is amazingly affordable!" and you are right, for less than 22 Starbucks latte's your child could have the experience of a lifetime (or just a great season). How do we keep these prices so low and yet have so much fun? Our club is run by loving, kind, generous people just like you. We require your help to make this club work. Are you interested in helping, either as a coach, assistant, field maintenance, author of whimsical emails, or a board member ... you can sign up during the registration process.

Throughout the summer Michaela would like to help Gilbert youth improve their skills by starting with the basic fundamentals and working their way up to thinking more abstractly and creatively about the game they play as they’re playing it.
March 24th – Tuesday – 6-8pm at the Elementary School.
March 28th – Saturday – 10am - Noon at the Elementary School.
Rosters for Spring 2015 have been sent to the coaches. If you are registered for this season you should be receiving and email from your daughter or sons' coach shortly. Please be patient :)
Parents of any youth athletes we are having a BASEBALL and SOCCER equipment (shoes, shinguards, gloves, bats, etc.) exchange.
When: Tuesday, March 10th 5pm-6pm
Where: High School Commons room
If you have any items to donate, and would like to drop them off ahead of time, please drop them off at the Elementary or Intermediate offices. Or you may bring them the night of the exchange as well.
